Day 1: Departure → Taita Hills (Arrival & Afternoon Safari)

Early morning departure (06:00–06:30) and transfer to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrival by late morning, check-in at the lodge (e.g., Salt Lick Safari Lodge or similar), and lunch. After a short rest, head out for an afternoon safari in search of elephants, buffalo, antelopes, big cats, and the rich birdlife against the dramatic backdrop of the Taita landscape. Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 1 Evening (Optional)

Optional night safari organized by the lodge, offering the chance to spot nocturnal animals (advance booking recommended).

Day 2: Sunrise Safari → Check-out → Return

Early morning game drive at sunrise, the best time to spot predators and grazing animals. Return for breakfast, relax, and check-out. Option for a final mid-morning safari when leaving the sanctuary. Lunch en route (or packed lunch), followed by return journey with arrival in the late afternoon.
